I know what ACC guys decided. I think Big East did something similar.

I have seen both athletic wear and the traditional suits in SEC, so maybe they could not all agree.
I know Florida coach's contract had a clause that required suit and tie dress for games at one point. So who knows maybe certain schools are reason they don't have consistent approach by everyone?
